Large stained and leaded glass skylight ceiling with crystal chandelier for a double-height great living room floods the living space with natural light. The decorative glass ceiling was inspired by Great Britain’s classic residences. The stained and leaded glass skylight design is developed based on a simple geometric pattern with hand beveled clear and blue beveled glass. Crystal chandelier is suspended from the center of the glass ceiling. For the same house we developed an oval stained and leaded glass dome above the oval staircase and small octagon leaded glass skylight for the hallway. Built in 1905, this historic property in Scarsdale, New York was beautifully renovated by Greenwich-based architectural firm Granoff Architects for Mark and Lisa Bezos. The house is described as “one of the most beautiful homes in Scarsdale.” It welcomes the visitors and residents of the house with a double-height entrance foyer topped with large classic stained glass ceiling skylight.
